Things we're up to...
ARENA LEISURE CENTRE, CAMBERLEY, OPEN DAY SUNDAY 15TH JAN 2012 11am - 4pm
A fun packed day is on offer with free children's activity sessions; various demonstrations and free adult taster sessions too! We will be facepainting as part of the Children's Fun Day element alongside trampolining, bouncy castle, giant ball pond, soft play and competitions. The event is being put on to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation so come and join us and help make a difference to this very worth cause.
KIDS EAT FREE AT THE RADISSON EDWARDIAN HOTEL, GUILDFORD!
Enjoy a delicious Sunday Roast in the Relish Restaurant at the wonderful RADISSON EDWARDIAN HOTEL in GUILDFORD between 12.30pm and 3pm every Sunday in January and February. Fascinating Faces will be providing free facepainting for all children aged 3 and over between 1pm and 3pm.
TODAY WE MET SOME AMAZING PEOPLE AT CHRISTOPHER'S, THE CHASE CHILDREN'S HOSPICE FAMILY DAY IN GUILDFORD
We were humbled to be invited to facepaint at Christopher’s, the Chase Children’s Hospice’s annual family fun day today (5th September 2010).
CHASE supports families in their own homes and communities and at the Christopher’s Chase children’s hospice.
Dedicated help is given, starting immediately after diagnosis and continuing through to bereavement and beyond. This is a journey that can last a number of years. They rely on donations and fundraising to maintain this invaluable support.
Christopher’s is the most amazing hospice with truly incredible people behind it. My Mum was a volunteer for many years and I have always wanted to do my bit to help. I don’t think I would be emotionally strong enough to help on a day to day basis (as much as I would love to); but hopefully I put quite a few smiles on some beautiful faces today.
